Académie autonome d'aikido Kobayashi

3aKH - 30 ans

Thirty years have passed since that day when Soshu Kobayashi said: "The system of federations is not suitable for budo. Aikido is a budo and is in no way a sport. It must be developed as part of a structure according to school tradition. If you really want to do my aikido, create your school. " I was not long in making the decision. I do not was measuring the consequences. Some left me immediately, others jalousèrent me, others openly threatened me, finally, I am predicting the obvious: "It gives you a maximum of two years, after which, the 3A will no longer exist." There were also those who supported me and came to join me. Sensei bent over our creation, providing advice, helping me find my way quietly. Today, thirty years later, I thank all those who have approved, those who have given their support, those who have taught me that the world is not always kind, those who have taught caution in condemning in advance my project, who showed me the richness of this approach me jealous. 3A has been created against anyone or anything but lead to better, according to our personal convictions, true budo project: expanding, would it be so small, the circle of harmony and peace.

We do not claim to hold any truth, we do not feel in any way better than any other school of aikido, no other style, we follow this path we have chosen, in the wake of our illustrious predecessors, applying as much as possible this rule has become our motto: neither domination nor submission nor compromise, respect, humility, loyalty.

This maxim has two sides, the negations, the statements.

Do not seek to dominate anyone, do not take power over the people, shall direct that himself along the way.

Do not submit to anything, especially not to yield to violence, of course but also that of other domestic violence who commands us to dominate the people and events.

Do not compromise with others, compromise has always intended to regain control of the relationship. Do not do it either with yourself on the rules of budo and the rule of law. Life in the sincerity.

The other side: respect, humility and loyalty are the primary conditions in order to apply the principle of three "no". They are also what we can achieve by applying it. Are there in this world to another object that the rule?

To celebrate this anniversary, all aikidoka, all budoka of all schools and all styles are welcome. My final words to express my infinite gratitude to Hirokazu Kobayashi Soshu, O Sensei Ueshiba, all his disciples and to all those who contribute through their work in the dojo to the development of the virtues of budo. Arigatai!
